The Farmall F12 is equipped with one of two engines: the International Harvester, 1.9 L (113.1 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine or the Waukesha, 1.9 L (113.0 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: an unsynchronized gear transmission with 3 forward and 1 reverse gear or an unsynchronized gear transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gear.
