The Ford Powermaster 841 is a 2WD utility tractor from the 801 Powermaster series. This tractor was manufactured by Ford in Highland Park, Michigan, USA from 1957 to 1961.
The Ford Powermaster 841 is equipped with one of two engines: a 2.8 L (172.0 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine or a 2.8 L (172.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a unsynchronized gear transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gears or the Sherman “Step-Up Step-down” transmission with 12 forward and 3 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Ford EAF. It is a 2.8 L, 2,819 cm2, (172.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline/LP-gas engine with 99.0 mm (3.9 in) of the cylinder bore and 91.0 mm (3.58 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.5:1 for gasoline version or 8.65:1 for LP-gas version. This engine produced 63.5 PS (46.7 kW; 62.6 HP) at 2,000 rpm of output power for gasoline version.
- Ford. It is a 2.8 L, 2,819 cm2, (172.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 99.0 mm (3.9 in) and the piston stroke is 91.0 mm (3.58 in). The compression ratio rating is 16.8:1. This engine produced 57.1 PS (42.0 kW; 56.3 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
The Ford Powermaster 841 is equipped with manual or power (optional) steering, differential mechanical expanding shoe brakes, open operator station and 64.3 liters (17 US gal.; 14.1 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
