The John Deere 6620 Premium is a 4WD utility tractor from the 6020 series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere from 2003 to 2006. This second generation was manufactured from 2003 to 2006. The JD 6620 Premium is equipped with a 6.8 L (414.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: PowrQuad Plus transmission with 24 forward and 24 reverse gears, AutoQuad Plus transmission with 24 forward and 24 reverse gears or AutoPowr IVT transmission transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

It is a 6.8 L, 6,785 cm2, (414.0 cu·in) six-cylinder turbocharged intercooled diesel engine with 106.0 mm (4.17 in) of the cylinder bore and 127.0 mm (5 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 126.8 PS (93.2 kW; 125.0 HP) at 2,300 rpm of output power and 535.1 N·m (54.6 kg·m, 394.4 ft·lb) at 1,700 rpm of torque.
