The Ford 9N utility tractor used the Ford engine. It is a 2.0 L, 1,961 cm2, (120.0 cu·in) side-valve, four-cylinder, natural aspirated gasoline engine with 81.0 mm (3.19 in) of the cylinder bore and 95.0 mm (3.74 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 6.0:1. This engine produced 23.4 PS (17.2 kW; 23.0 HP) at rpm of maximum output power. The distillate engine with the compression ratio rating of 4.75:1 was used on the Ford 9NAN variation, power is about 10% lower than on the 9N.
The Ford 9N is equipped with manual steering, differential mechanical shoe brakes, open operator station and 38.0 liters (10 US gal.; 8.4 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

I am looking for information on what the lever behind the oil filter is used for and I am gratefull for the information on this site.
Had one when I was a kid. 3spd transmission, but it had a lever on the rite side that was a step up which gave it 6 gears. My grandad had a patient for an implement towing device which was almost identical to the drawbars used today.
