The John Deere 3120 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the 3000 Twenty series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere in Augusta, Georgia, USA from 2005 to 2008. The John Deere 3120 is equipped with a 1.5 L three-cylinder diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears.
The JD 3120 compact utility tractor used the Yanmar 3TNV84 engine. It is a 1.5 L, 1,496 cm2, (91.3 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 84.0 mm (3.31 in) of the cylinder bore and 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 18.5:1. This engine produced 30.0 PS (22.0 kW; 29.5 HP) at 2,600 rpm of output power and 90.4 N·m (9.2 kg·m, 66.6 ft·lb) at 1,560 rpm of torque.
