The Ford 3930 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 30 Utility series. This tractor was manufactured by Ford in Basildon, England from 1990 to 2002.
The Ford 3930 is equipped with one of three engines: a 3.3 L (201.0 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine (from 1990 to 1995), a 3.2 L (193.0 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine (from 1995) or a 3.2 L (193.0 cu·in) three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine (this engine was introduced in 1999) and one of three transmissions: a transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears, a synchronized shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a partial power shift transmission with dry disc clutch and 16 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Ford diesel engine. It is a 3.3 L, 3,294 cm2, (201.0 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the cylinder bore and 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.3:1. This engine produced 45.7 PS (33.6 kW; 45.0 HP) at 2,000 rpm of PTO output power.
- Ford diesel engine. It is a 3.2 L, 3,163 cm2, (193.0 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 112.0 mm (4.41 in) and the piston stroke is 107.0 mm (4.21 in). The compression ratio rating is 16.3:1. This engine produced 52.8 PS (38.8 kW; 52.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of PTO output power.
- Ford turbo-diesel engine. It is a 3.2 L, 3,163 cm2, (193.0 cu·in) three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 112.0 mm (4.41 in) and the piston stroke is 107.0 mm (4.21 in).
The Ford 3930 is equipped with power steering, two-post ROPS or Cab (optional), and 65.5 liters (17.3 US gal.; 14.4 Imp. gal) fuel tank for ROPS version or 95.8 liters (25.3 US gal, 21.1 Imp. gal) for Cab version.
