The New Holland TN65 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the TN series. This tractor was manufactured by New Holland in Jesi, Italy from 1998 to 2003. The New Holland TN65 is equipped with a 2.9 L (179.0 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: a mechanical shuttle transmission with dry disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears, a power shuttle transmission with wet disc clutch and 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or a shuttle transmission with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears.
The New Holland TN65 utility tractor used the Iveco 8035.05R engine. It is a 2.9 L, 2,933 cm2, (179.0 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 104.0 mm (4.09 in) of the cylinder bore and 115.0 mm (4.53 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 18.0:1. This engine produced 57.8 PS (42.5 kW; 57.0 HP) at 2,300 rpm of output power and 219.7 N·m (22.4 kg·m, 161.9 ft·lb) at 1,400 rpm of torque.
