The John Deere 5065E is a 2WD/4WD utility tractor from the 5E series. This second generation was manufactured by John Deere in Pune, Maharashtra, India from 2013 to 2014. The John Deere 5065E is equipped with a 3.0 L (182.6 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: the SyncShuttle transmission with 9 forward and 3 reverse gears or the PowrReverser transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
The JD 5065E utility tractor used the John Deere PowerTech 3029 engine. It is a 3.0 L, 2,933 cm2, (179.0 cu·in) three-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 106.0 mm (4.17 in) of the cylinder bore and 110.0 mm (4.33 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 66 PS (48.5 kW; 65.0 HP) at 2,400 rpm of output power.
The John Deere 5065E is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, hydraulic wet disc brakes, two-post foldable ROPS or Cab (optional), and 68.1 liters (18 US gal.; 15 Imp. gal) fuel tank for ROPS version or 82.1 liters (21.7 US gal, 18.1 Imp. gal) for Cab version. The JD 5065E could be equipped the John Deere 553 NSL loader.
