The Farmall 504 is a 2WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Farmall (a part of International Harvester) from 1961 to 1968.
The Farmall 504 is equipped with one of three engines: a 3.1 L (187.5 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine, a 2.5 L (152.1 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine, or a 2.5 L (152.1 cu·in) four-cylinder LP gas engine and one of two transmissions: an unsynchronized gear transmission with 5 forward and 1 reverse gear or a two-speed power shift transmission with 10 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- International Harvester D188. It is a 3.1 L, 3,073 cm2, (187.5 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 94.0 mm (3.7 in) of the cylinder bore and 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 18.7:1.
- International Harvester C153. It is a 2.5 L, 2,492 cm2, (152.1 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 86.0 mm (3.39 in) and the piston stroke is 108.0 mm (4.25 in).
- International Harvester (LP-gas). It is a 2.5 L, 2,492 cm2, (152.1 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated LP-gas engine. The cylinder bore is 86.0 mm (3.39 in) and the piston stroke is 108.0 mm (4.25 in).
The Farmall 504 is equipped with power steering, differential mechanical disc brakes, and an open operator station.
