The Allis Chalmers 7000 is a 2WD tractor manufactured by Allis Chalmers in West Allis, Wisconsin, USA from 1975 to 1979. The Allis Chalmers 7000 had two versions, the maroon or brown chassis (form 1975 to 1978, S/N 8000) and the later black chassis (1978-1979).
The Allis Chalmers 7000 is equipped with one of two engines: the Allis Chalmers 2900 (brown chassis version) or the Allis Chalmers 649T (black chassis), it is a 4.9 L (301.0 cu·in) six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engines and a partial power shift transmission with 12 forward and 3 reverse gears. The black-chassis version featured a new transmission design.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Allis Chalmers 2900. It is a 4.9 L, 4,932 cm2, (301.0 cu·in) six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 98.0 mm (3.86 in) of the cylinder bore and 108.0 mm (4.25 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.25:1. This engine produced 118.6 PS (87.2 KW; 117.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of max horsepower and 107.4 PS (79.0 kW; 106.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of PTO output power.

The AC 7000 is equipped with power steering, differential dry disc brakes, the Acousta-Cab (optional for brown chassis), or the Acousta-Cab II (for black chassis), and 140.0 liters (37 US gal.; 30.8 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
