The Bolens G174 is a 4WD sub-compact utility tractor from the series. This tractor was manufactured by Iseki for distributor Bolens from 1978 to 1991. This second generation was manufactured from 1981 to 1991. The Bolens G174 is equipped with a 0.8 L (51.7 cu·in) three-cylinder diesel engine and unsynchronized gear transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The Bolens G174 sub-compact utility tractor used the Mitsubishi K3B engine. It is a 0.8 L, 847 cm2, (51.7 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 68.0 mm (2.68 in) of the cylinder bore and 78.0 mm (3.07 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 17.3 PS (12.7 kW; 17.0 HP) at 2,600 rpm of output power and 47.1 N·m (4.8 kg·m, 34.7 ft·lb) at 1,800 rpm of torque.
The Bolens G174 is equipped with manual steering, mechanical internal expanding brakes, an open operator station, and 12.0 liters (3.2 US gal.; 2.6 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
