The CaseIH 885 is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 85 Utility series. This tractor was manufactured by CaseIH in Doncaster, England from 1985 to 1990. The CaseIH 885 is equipped with a 4.4 L (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: a synchro transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears, a two-speed power shift transmission with 16 forward and 8 reverse gears or a shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 4 reverse gears.
The CaseIH 885 utility tractor used the Case International D268 engine. It is a 4.4 L, 4,392 cm2, (268.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 100.0 mm (3.94 in) of the cylinder bore and 140.0 mm (5.51 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 15.1:1. This engine produced 85.1 PS (62.6 kW; 84.0 HP) at 2,400 rpm of output power.
The Case IH 885 is equipped with power steering, independent hydraulic wet disc brakes, ROPS or Cab and 75.7 liters (20 US gal.; 16.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
