The Cub Cadet 73 is a 2WD lawn tractor from the 1X2/1X3 series. This tractor was manufactured by Cub Cadet (a part of International Harvester) in Louisville, Kentucky, USA from 1969 to 1971. The Cub Cadet 73 is equipped with a 0.3 L (15.9 cu·in) single-cylinder gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: a shaft-driven gear type transmission with dry disc clutch (3 forward and 1 reverse gear) or a shaft-driven gear type transmission with creeper and dry disc clutch (6 forward and 2 reverse gears).
