The Ford 1510 is a two-wheel (2WD) or optional four-wheel (4WD) compact utility tractor from the Ten compact series, manufactured by Japanese company Shibaura for Ford brand from 1983 to 1986. The Ford 1510 tractor is equipped with three-cylinders Shibaura K773 diesel engine with 1.1 L, 1,117 cc (68.2 cu-in) of displacement and gear shift transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears.
The Ford 1510 tractor used a three-cylinder naturally-aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine Shibaura K773, with 77.0 mm (3.03 in) of the cylinder bore and 80.0 mm (3.15 in) of the piston stroke. Compression ratio rating is 23.0:1. It produced 22.3 PS (16.4 kW; 22.0 HP) of gross horsepower and 20 PS (14.7 kW; 19.7 HP) of PTO shaft horsepower. The engine used dry air cleaner and pre-heating glow plugs.
The Ford 1510 utility tractor is equipped with gear shift transmission with 12 forward (1.2-20.1 km/h, 0.8-12.5 mph) and 4 reverse (1.4-14.0 km/h, 0.9-8.7 mph) gears. The tractor used manual steering (power steering was available as an option) and differential mechanical drum brakes.
The 1510 tractor can use the following attachments:
- Mid-mount Ford 915 mower deck with 3-blades (cutting width: 1,520 mm (60 in.)
- Rear-mount Ford 715 snow blower with hydraulic lift (clearing width: 1,520 mm (60 in.)
- Rear-mount Ford 715 snow blower (clearing width: 1,600 mm (63 in.)
- Front-end loader Ford 770A/B
- Backhoe Ford 757A
- Backhoe Ford 785A
The Ford 1510 used a rollover protection structure (ROPS) for operators. The tractor has rear PTO shaft with 540 rpm, front PTO was available as an option.
