The Ford 1120 is a 2WD or 4WD compact utility tractor from the Twenty Compact series. This tractor was manufactured by Shibaura for Ford in Japan from 1987 to 1993. The Ford 1120 is equipped with a 0.9 L three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: gear type transmission with 9 forward and 3 reverse gears or hydrostatic transmission with infinite (2-range) forward and reverse gears.
The Ford 1120 compact utility tractor used the Shibaura S723 engine. It is a 0.9 L, 879 cm2, (53.6 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 72.0 mm (2.83 in) of the cylinder bore and 72.0 mm (2.83 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 23.0:1. This engine produced 20 PS (14.7 kW; 19.7 HP) at 2,500 rpm of maximum output power.
The Ford 1120 is equipped with manual or power (optional) steering, expanding shoe brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS and 18.2 liters (4.8 US gal.; 4 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
