The Ford 1920 is a 2WD or 4WD compact utility tractor from the Twenty Compact series. This tractor was manufactured by Shibaura for Ford in Japan from 1987 to 2000. The Ford 1920 is equipped with a 2.0 L four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: gear type transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears or mechanical shuttle transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears.
The Ford 1920 compact utility tractor used the Shibaura N844 engine. It is a 2.0 L, 1,995 cm2, (121.7 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 84.0 mm (3.31 in) of the cylinder bore and 90.0 mm (3.54 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 19.0:1. This engine produced 33.7 PS (24.8 kW; 33.3 HP) at 2,500 rpm of maximum output power.
