The Ford 9000 is a 2WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Ford from 1970 to 1972. The Ford 9000 is equipped with a 6.6 L (401.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a transmission with 8 forward and 2 reverse gears or a partial power shift transmission with 16 forward and 4 reverse gears. This tractor was available in two versions: 9100 – all-purpose tractor or 9200 – row-crop tractor.
The Ford 9000 row-crop tractor used the Ford engine. It is a 6.6 L, 6,571 cm2, (401.0 cu·in) six-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the cylinder bore and 112.0 mm (4.41 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.5:1. This engine produced 147 PS (108.1 kW; 145.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
The Ford 9000 is equipped with power steering, differential hydraulic wet disc brakes, open operator station or Cab (optional) and 163.0 liters (43.1 US gal.; 35.9 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
Following attachments are available for the Ford 9000 row-crop tractor:
