The International Harvester 240 is a 2WD utility tractor manufactured by International Harvester from 1958 to 1962. The International Harvester 240 is equipped with a 2.0 L (122.7 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine and one of two transmissions: a sliding gear transmission with 4 forward and 1 reverse gears and dry disc clutch or a sliding gear (high speed option) transmission.
The IH 240 utility tractor used the International Harvester C-123 engine. It is a 2.0 L, 2,011 cm2, (122.7 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 79.0 mm (3.11 in) of the cylinder bore and 102.0 mm (4.02 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.3:1. This engine produced 40.5 PS (29.8 kW; 40.0 HP) at 2,000 rpm of output power and 137.0 N·m (14 kg·m, 101 ft·lb) at 1,200 rpm.
The International 240 is equipped with manual or hydrostatic power (optional) steering, independent mechanical disc brakes, open operator station, and 61.3 liters (16.2 US gal.; 13.5 Imp. gal) fuel tank.

mine has 12 x 24 tires on the rear
I also have one . it has 600 x 16 fronts and 12.4 x 28 rears. It also came with a IH loader.
