The J.I. Case 430CK Construction King is a 2WD industrial tractor manufactured by J.I. Case in from 1960 to 1966.
The J.I. Case 430CK is equipped with one of two engines: a 2.4 L (148.0 cu·in) four-cylinder gasoline engine or a 3.1 L (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a unsynchronized gear with dry disc clutch transmission with 12 forward and 3 reverse gears or a mechanical shuttle with dry disc clutch transmission with 4 forward and 4 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- J.I. Case G148B. It is a 2.4 L, 2,425 cm2, (148.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 86.0 mm (3.39 in) of the cylinder bore and 105.0 mm (4.13 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.0:1. This engine produced 42.6 PS (31.3 kW; 42.0 HP) at 1,750 rpm of output power.
- J.I. Case G188D. It is a 3.1 L, 3,081 cm2, (188.0 cu·in) four-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine. The cylinder bore is 97.0 mm (3.82 in) and the piston stroke is 105.0 mm (4.13 in). The compression ratio rating is 17.5:1. This engine produced 42.6 PS (31.3 kW; 42.0 HP) at 1,750 rpm of output power.
The J.I. Case 430 Construction King is equipped with power steering, mechanical disc brakes, open operator station and 83.3 liters (22 US gal.; 18.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
