The John Deere 6120E is a 2WD or 4WD utility tractor from the 6E series. This tractor has been manufactured by John Deere in Saltillo, Mexico since 2016. The John Deere 6120E is equipped with a 4.5 L (275.0 cu·in) four-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a partially synchronized with wet disc clutch transmission with 12 forward and 12 reverse gears or a two-speed power shift with wet disc clutch transmission with 24 forward and 12 reverse gears.

It is a 4.5 L, 4,506 cm2, (275.0 cu·in) four-cylinder wastegate turbochargeed with air-to-air aftercooling diesel engine with 106.0 mm (4.17 in) of the cylinder bore and 127.0 mm (5 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 16.8:1. This engine produced 121.7 PS (89.5 kW; 120.0 HP) at 2,200 rpm of output power.
