John Deere L111The John Deere L111 is a 2WD lawn tractor from the L100 series. This tractor was manufactured by John Deere in 2005. The John Deere L111 is equipped with a 0.7 L two-cylinder gasoline engine and belt-driven hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.

The JD L111 lawn tractor used the Briggs & Stratton 40 engine. It is a 0.7 L, 655 cm2, (39.97 cu·in) two-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 75.4 mm (2.97 in) of the cylinder bore and 73.5 mm (2.89 in) of the piston stroke. This lawn tractor is equipped with manual steering, open operator station and 7.9 liters (2.1 US gal.; 1.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank. The L111 lawn tractor used a mid-mount 42 in (1,060 mm) mower deck with 2-blades with manual lift.

  1. John Deere L111 42″ deck. What are is the torque spec for the deck blade spindle mounting bolts? They are a grade 5 5/16″ bolt which go in to steel inserts in the spindle. The bolt charts say 16-19 ftlbs but that does not seem like very much considering the vibrations etc. Thank you.
