The Kubota B1400 is a 2WD (B1400) or 4WD (B1400DT) sub-compact utility tractor from the B00 series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota in Japan. The Kubota B1400 is equipped with 0.9 L three-cylinder diesel engine and selective sliding gear transmission with dry single disc clutch (6 forward and 2 reverse gears).
The Kubota B1400 utility tractor used the Kubota D850L engine. It is a 0.9 L, 855 cm2, (52.2 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 72.0 mm (2.83 in) of the cylinder bore and 70.0 mm (2.76 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 19.3 PS (14.2 kW; 19 HP) of gross output power and 14.1 PS (10.4 KW; 14.0 HP) of PTO horsepower. The Kubota D850L diesel engine used a trochoid pump forced feed lubrication system and a natural circulation cooling system.
