The Kubota B2230 is a 4WD compact utility tractor from the B30 series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2007 to 2013. The Kubota B2230 is equipped with 1.0 L three-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: gear shift transmission with dry single-plate type clutch (9 forward and 9 reverse gears) or hydrostatic transmission (B2230HST) with infinite 3-range forward and reverse gears.
The Kubota B2230 compact utility tractor used the Kubota D1005-E2-D21-EU engine. It is a 1.0 L, 1,001 cm2, (61.1 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 76.0 mm (2.99 in) of the cylinder bore and 73.6 mm (2.9 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 22 PS (16.2 kW; 21.7 HP) of gross horsepower and 18.0 PS (13.2 KW; 17.7 HP) of PTO power. The Kubota D1005 engine used a forced lubrication system by a trochoidal pump and forced a circulation cooling system with a water pump.
The Kubota B2230 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc type brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS (cab with air-conditioning was available as an option) and 28.0 liters (7.4 US gal.; 6.2 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
