The Kubota L3240 is a 2WD (L3240F) or 4WD compact utility tractor from the L40 series. This tractor was manufactured by the Kubota from 2007 to 2013. The Kubota L3240 is equipped with a 1.6 L three-cylinder diesel engine and one of three transmissions: hydrostatic transmission with infinite (3-range) forward and reverse gears, FST sync shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or glide shift (GST) transmission 12 forward and 8 reverse gears.
The Kubota L3240 compact utility tractor used the Kubota D1703-M-E2 engine. It is a 1.6 L, 1,647 cm2, (100.5 cu·in) three-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 87.0 mm (3.43 in) of the cylinder bore and 92.4 mm (3.64 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 32.5 PS (23.9 kW; 32.0 HP) of net horsepower and 25.4 PS (18.7 KW; 25.0 HP) of PTO output power.
The Kubota L3240 is equipped with hydrostatic power steering, wet disc type brakes, open operator station with two-post ROPS or Grand cab (L3240HSTC) and 44.0 liters (11.6 US gal.; 9.7 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
