Wonderful information. Just learned a lot about my existing Kubota
I’ve owned kubotas since 1972,
Diesel only, I’ve tried John Deere Ford etcc, Nothing compares. If u can afford the initial payment, it’s for life. They don’t break. They always start with glow plug in coldest weather, but buy Woods accessories, they are built to last. Land Pride broke apart days after purchase steel far inferio to woods but still all falls on your Kubota dealer. Some are incompetent others will go far and beyond they’re normal protocoles to satisfy a customer. If you can’t afford new buy a good used Kubota in Lancaster area where they are prevalent and indistructible. Diesel only.
Lastly, diesel initial cost is far higher but fuel consumption is night and day to gasoline . Exp. My Z21 diesel zero turn mows grass approx 9 acres 3 times on 1 tank of fuel. Can go thru 2 ft tall grass without a hiccup. Buy mulching blades as well. Do not take blades off to sharpen. Mower deck cranks up to 45 degrees with this design so u don’t have to crawl under. Use grinder to sharpen blades. Taking off is too much time and work. Just learn proper sharpening method. I still have original belt on 60″ mower deck with 1,000 hrs
Still looks like new!
