The Kubota T1870 is a 2WD lawn and garden tractor from the T series. This tractor was manufactured by Kubota from 2002 to 2007.
The Kubota T1870 used one of two engines: the Kohler CV19S – 0.6 L (38.1 cu·in) V-twin gasoline engine, or the Kawasaki FH531V – 0.5 L (30.1 cu·in) V-twin gasoline engine and a hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
This lawn tractor is equipped with the sector and pinion steering, disc brakes, open operator station, and 15.1 liters (4.0 US gal, 3.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Kohler CV19S. It is a 0.6 L, 624 cm2, (38.1 cu·in) V-twin natural aspirated gasoline engine with 77.0 mm (3.03 in) of the cylinder bore and 64.0 mm (2.52 in) of the piston stroke. This engine produced 19.3 PS (14.2 KW; 19.0 HP of output power.
- Kawasaki FH531V. It is a 0.5 L, 494 cm2, (30.1 cu·in) V-twin natural aspirated gasoline engine. The cylinder bore is 68.0 mm (2.68 in) and the piston stroke is 68.0 mm (2.68 in). This engine produced 18.2 PS (13.4 kW; 18.0 HP) at 3,600 rpm of output power.
