The Minneapolis-Moline G1000 is a 2WD or 4WD row-crop tractor manufactured by Minneapolis-Moline in Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA from 1965 to 1969.
The Minneapolis-Moline G1000 is equipped with one of two engines: a 8.3 L (504.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine or a 8.3 L (504.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline/LP-gas engine and a partial power shift transmission with 10 forward and 2 reverse gears and hydraulic dry disc clutch. The Minneapolis-Moline G-1000 was available in three types: row-crop, wheatland, and the Vista model with a high operator’s platform.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Minneapolis-Moline. It is a 8.3 L, 8,259 cm2, (504.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated diesel engine with 117.0 mm (4.61 in) of the cylinder bore and 127.0 mm (5 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 14.3:1. This engine produced 101.5 PS (74.6 kW; 100 HP) at 1,800 rpm of output power.
- Minneapolis-Moline 504A-6. It is a 8.3 L, 8,259 cm2, (504.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline/LP-gas engine. The cylinder bore is 117.0 mm (4.61 in) and the piston stroke is 127.0 mm (5 in). The compression ratio rating is 9.1:1 for LP-gas version.
The MM G1000 is equipped with hydraulic power steering, differential hydraulic dry discs brakes, an open operator station or cab (optional) and 151.4 liters (40 US gal.; 33.3 Imp. gal) fuel tank.
