The Oliver 880 is a 2WD row-crop tractor from the series. This tractor was manufactured by Oliver in Charles City, Iowa, USA from 1958 to 1963.
The Oliver 880 is equipped with one of two engines: a 4.3 L (265.0 cu·in) six-cylinder gasoline engine or a 4.3 L (265.0 cu·in) six-cylinder diesel engine and one of two transmissions: a constant mesh transmission with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears and dry disc clutch or a two-speed power shift transmission with 12 forward and 4 reverse gears.
The tractor could be equipped with the following engines:
- Waukesha-Oliver. It is a 4.3 L, 4,342 cm2, (265.0 cu·in) six-cylinder natural aspirated gasoline engine with 95.0 mm (3.74 in) of the cylinder bore and 102.0 mm (4.02 in) of the piston stroke. The compression ratio rating is 7.3:1. This engine produced 55.8 PS (41.0 kW; 55.0 HP) at 1,750 rpm of PTO output power.
